Tribes

As a young child, our basic needs for food, shelter, safety and a sense of belonging is developed through our tribal culture - both from our immediate family unit and the community at-large.

This tribe helps us to connect to the collective consciousness of the group, which includes a range of thoughts and emotions - from strengths to weaknesses and everything in between.

Within the energetic body, this “tribal power” is developed in the Root Chakra - the first chakra that resides at the base of the spine. It’s here where we develop our identity, where we honor the “tribe,” show our loyalty and feel safe and connected to it and Earth.

If we go against the tribe or do not experience feelings of safety and security as a young child, we may experience fear and abandonment into adulthood - including emotional instability, mental illness or even destructive patterns.

As you evolve through life and your thoughts and patterns change and even perhaps veer away from the tribal impressions you received as a child, it’s important to find your tribe. A group that expresses the same interests, patterns and acceptance and one that provides feelings of safety and security for you.

“All Is One.”
